Hawaii may have finally convinced me that there’s something pretty great about a tropical vacation after all.

From the breathtaking lakes of Banff to wild nachos and a sunset over Calgary, this Canadian adventure proved that mountains (with lakes) make just about everything a little cooler.

Woke up before sunrise, nearly missed my Lake Maline cruise, photographed an elk and a moose, saw Spirit Island in the sunshine, and somehow ended the day with my first ever bear sighting. Wow, Jasper. 🇨🇦

Seattle turned out to be exactly my kind of place—beautiful, delicious, a little weird, and full of adventures worth chasing with a camera.

Three trips, plenty of chaos, and a museum of skeletons later, Oklahoma finally won me over.
